Definition of rebuilt / completed vehicles

Rebuilt vehicles are all vehicles that are already registered in Slovenia and have a different purpose, technical characteristics or shape since the modification.

Completed vehicles are all new incomplete and not yet registered vehicles (e.g.: chassis with a cabin) that were completed for their final purpose.

The customer makes an application for the single approval of a rebuilt vehicle (OBR RTI-703) to the Controlling organization – RTI-KP. It is necessary to enclose the following documentation to the application:

The customer makes an application for the single approval of a completed vehicle (OBR RTI-703) to the Controlling organization - RTI-KP. It is necessary toenclose the following documentation to the application:

  1. Producer’s technical confirmation of an incomplete vehicle (chassis with cabin) or COC document, (OBR RTI-683, or OBR RTI-797, or OBR RTI-798).
  2. Completed technical confirmation of the fully completed vehicle with changed technical data and homologation numbers for fitted vehicle parts and components or technical report about homologation tests from the authorized "Technical service" (OBR RTI-765).
  3. Completed technical report about the fully completed vehicle with necessary descriptions, drawings, calculations and pieces of evidence, which prove that the completed vehicle is in accordance with producer’s instructions.
  4. Evidence of ownership.
