All vehicle components that are included in the homologation regulations have to be tested and build-in according to the EC-directives (TSV) or ECE regulations. For all new vehicles that are not included in the vehicle type approval homologation tests have to be performed according to regulations. The same applies for rebuilt vehicles where rebuilding relates to homologated elements.

Homologation test is performed:

• on the representative sample in the case of vehicle type or same vehicle’s components approval;
• on the concrete vehicle in the case of single vehicle approval.

At the end of the procedure technical service issues a technical report about the homologation test.
